Helping You and Your Family Through Life's Challenges

Home

Contact Columbus lawyer Bobbie Corley O'Keefe for all of your family law legal needs, including questions about divorce, child custody, alimony, and visitation rights.

At the office of Bobbie Corley O'Keefe, LLC, in Gahanna, Ohio, I have 15 years of experience helping people in the Columbus area with various family law issues. I work to build an in-depth understanding of my clients' personal situation and objectives, tailoring the approach we take based on the specific circumstances we are facing.

From the beginning to the end of the case, I support my clients every step of the way. Contact me to discuss your individual case and needs.

Supporting You in a Variety of Legal Matters

A large portion of my practice is devoted to handling a range of family law matters for men and women throughout central Ohio. Though I do focus on divorce and other family law-related issues, such as child custody, I also handle other legal matters for my clients.

  • Wills
  • Living wills
  • Powers of attorney
  • Real estate sales and purchases
  • Local government law
  • Public records
  • Open meetings
  • Governmental utilities
  • Public improvements
  • Eminent domain
  • Special assessments
  • Construction issues

Making Choices That Are Right for You

I believe in building a close, personal working relationship with my clients. I fully explain all of the available options to my clients to better prepare them to make informed decisions about their cases. I understand that going to court is not always the best way to resolve the issues you and your family are facing —especially in cases of divorce and child custody.

As your attorney, I try to use other means to help you find the best possible solution to your issue, including:

  • Collaborative Law: Collaborative law is used in family law cases and civil disputes. The parties choose lawyers trained in the principles of collaboration and negotiation to resolve conflicts. Through a series of meetings with their attorneys and "four-way" meetings, the parties discuss, negotiate and decide all of the terms of their own agreement. For additional information about the principles of collaborative divorce law, please view the website of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals Inc.
  • Mediation: This is a process in which the parties take their dispute to a trained neutral third party known as a “mediator” who does not make the decision for the parties, but instead helps them discuss their issues and their interests and, in doing so, reach their own conclusions about how to resolve the dispute.

When Trial is the Only Option

I recognize that cases arise where litigation and trial are unavoidable. If so, I zealously advocate for my client's position within the bounds of the law. I advise my clients on their legal options, the best strategies to pursue and their chances for an outcome that meets their needs. I am also dedicated to guiding my clients through the maze of discovery, depositions, trial testimony and other trial procedures.

Contact my offices to learn more about me and how I can help you through your legal situation. I represent clients throughout central Ohio, including Licking and Fairfield counties.
